Greetings from Pine Tree Cove Resort on beautiful Lake Kabetogama!

image of Pine Tree CoveWe are situated on five acres at the west end of the lake. We have five rental cabins. Three large cabins, each over  800 sq ft, have  two-bedrooms that sleep six to eight people; one cabin with two bedrooms is just under 500 sq ft.,  sleeps up to four people; and one one-bedroom cabin. All our cabins have fully-equipped kitchens down to the coffee filters, knotty pine interiors, tasteful northwoods decor, comfortable beds and nice furniture. We pride ourselves in offering very clean cabins and we have a large repeat business.

Lake Kabetogama is seventeen miles long with water access to Rainy, Namakan, Sand Point and Crane Lakes. "Kab" has a reputation for some of the finest fishing in Minnesota. A "slot limit" instituted in 1997 has really begun to improve the quality of fishing. Here you'll find walleye, sauger, small mouth bass, perch, northern pike and crappie. Just down the road is Voyageurs National Park headquarters where abundant nature-related activities are always available. Take advantage of the opportunities to view bald eagles, bears, loons, deer and otter. Swim, picnic, hike, visit one of the hundreds of picturesque islands, or just relax.

Pine Tree Cove offers a large rock crib dock system with a breakwater and our own boat landing. A new screened picnic pavilion with propane BBQ guests can use for group gatherings. Also available at the resort are canoes, fish cleaning house, large crib docks with electricity, boats/motors, campsite/RV site. Restaurants, taverns and other services are available nearby. Join us for a peaceful, private and quiet stay at one of the smallest but most scenic and well-maintained resorts on the lake.
